Which 365 do I keep?

I am about to start a small business. I already have 365 personal which is about to expire. I am buying a domain and it is offering me 365 email essential. So my question is if I cancel the personal and get the email essential will I loose all my old files and that email? Or do I keep both?

Hello Natashia8,  Welcome to the Microsoft community.As far as I know, you can't buy domains on a personal account, are you using a personal account or a work account?Also I didn't confirm any information about the 365 email essential subscription, can you confirm that this is a Microsoft subscription product?If you are currently using a personal account and have a Microsoft 365 subscription, your cloud storage space will increase by 1TB.After your subscription expires, the cloud space will revert to the free 5GB. If your current cloud storage usage exceeds 5GB, your account may be frozen.After your account is frozen, you will not be able to send or receive emails or store more files.
