Create a copy online option in Web Excel

Question

Hello, in the Microsoft Excel web version we've noticed when attempting to copy an excel document, some users have the 'Create a copy online' option under File -> 'Create a copy' while some users only have the 'Download a copy' option. How do we get the 'Create a copy online' option to appear for everyone?

Also, confirm does the file is shared by someone?

Hello Waqas, sorry for the delayed response.

The issue we're seeing is when the user is in the online version of Excel. When the user goes to 'File' -> 'Create a Copy' they don't not see the 'Create a copy online' option like shown below. In the image I posted below, I am able to see the option. So we're wondering is there a setting that is turned off for this user's profile?

The issue does not seem to be machine specific but it seems to follow the user's online office profile because when I log into the same computer I do get this option.

Based on my test, I also cannot see the Excel for web UI under File tab. May I know does the user are using Windows OS Microsoft Edge browser to access Excel online?
