Salesforce Release pipeline - facing issues with error "Should provide a valid directory 'deployRoot' or a zip file 'zipFile'."

Hi Team,

I am creating a release pipeline, while deploying i am getting the error as " Should provide a valid directory 'deployRoot' or a zip file 'zipFile'." Though i have deployroot as deployRoot="..\src", where in src i have all the metadata.

Kindly, some one suggest why i am facing this error, and is there is any documentation that helps me to fix this issue.
It is bit urgent i have a client demo today
