Excel setting options not working properly.

Excel -> options -> Data -> Automatic data conversion options

I have checked the options then clicked on ok but once you go back to same setting you will find out that the options are themselves unchecked.

I have done the troubleshooting, also I have reinstalled my windows 11 and MS Office 2021 home and student but the problem still exists.

Does anyone have any idea what to do in this case.

Is there any bug in the excel?

I checked it on another laptop and this was working fine. I didn't face any problem on that laptop.

I am facing this problem on my pc.

    Hi Ramanpreet Kaurr,

    Thanks for visiting Microsoft Community.

In Excel, setting "Automatic Data conversions" is an exclusive feature for Microsoft 365 subscribers. This feature is not included in Office 2021 Home and Student.

Please refer to the official article: Set automatic data conversions - Microsoft Support

The reason you can see this setting is that the current Office login has been used by a user with a Microsoft 365 subscription. If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription or an account that includes a subscription, you can switch licenses or accounts in Excel by clicking on File, then Account, and then selecting the option to switch to an account that includes a subscription.

If you have any further questions, feel free to reply to me.

    Best Regards,
