I recently purchased Microsoft Office for my company. I managed to set up my business email and it's working fine on webpage and on my macbook outlook app but not on my iphone outlook app. When trying to log into iphone outlook app I get the message "Microsoft account does not exist". How to fix this problem?

Hi Juhofficial,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

It sounds frustrating to have your email working on some devices but not on your iPhone. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the "Microsoft account does not exist" issue:

  1. Select Exchange instead of Outlook account. Please check if you chose Outlook.com, kindly note that it is available for personal account. For business account, you need to choose Exchange.

  1. Double-check your email address: Ensure that you are entering the correct email address associated with your Microsoft account. Sometimes, a small typo can cause this error.
  2. Double verify your work account. Work email account can be managed or changed by global admin from the admin center. If you are the global admin, please visit admin.microsoft.com to confirm this is an existing user account. If you are not the global admin, you may please contact your IT department for further assistance.

Please kindly feel free to contact us with some update result information scenario for further analysis and assistant.

Thank you so much for your precious time. Stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Luckie Shi | Community Moderator.
