Onenote horizontal Scroll

Multiple threads have already been created and set to locked. This is strange since this issue is still present in 2024.
We can't, at the moment, do an horizontal scroll in OneNote, no shift+wheel, no 3dmouse, no extra horizontal scroll wheel on the mouse.

So I will try again to relay our frustration.

Please allow horizontal scrolling in Onenote, do not recommend third-party software, do not recommend workarounds, do not recommend giving feedback to Onenote (Already done, no ticket, no way to track our request, no vote for feedback popularity)

So, users want it, it's not hard to implement, you can contact directly the dev team behind Onenote, just tell them to implement this basic functionality.

Thank you

No, this is not an acceptable solution, people are never using drag to scroll horizontally.
Please provide a more classic mainstream solution, excel uses Ctrl+Shift+Wheelscroll
And please allow compatibility with 3d mouses, Word and Excel provide it.

    Thank you

My OneNote 365 version horizontal scrollbar will NOT go away and is continually bouncing the page back and forth as the mouse moves around the page. The bottom horizontal scroll will not go away by moving the page to the right to expose the left side and there is plenty of room on the page right to allow it to hide. It just bounces back to the right pushing the page to the left for no reason.

This product sneakily replaced my OneNote 2016 version with no path to get 2016 back.

    Hi Thomas Lagarde,

As per the description, I understand your demand to have OneNote horizontal Scroll. From my check in Microsoft Roadmap, it seems like I failed to find related feature development plan.

From my tests in OneNote, drag the mouse can move the page horizontally, so may I confirm if this fails to meet your requirement, and your demand is to have the same horizontal Scroll bar as it has in vertical as default?

Your patience is highly appreciated and kindly correct me if I made any misunderstanding.

    Regards,

    Mia
