Stocks Data function will not update on iPad

Question

I have an excel spreadsheet I use to track stocks that uses the Stocks Data function to get updated prices. While it works well on my computer, prices do not update on the iPad. Plus, if I go to Data on the iPad, there is no refresh button. One article I read said there was a refresh button. I started a new sheet to test the Stock Data function and the first time you add the function it updates the price, but it does not continually update as it does in the computer version.

Is there any way to force stocks to update on the iPad version? I can't run the online version of Excel because I get a notice that Scenario Manager is not supported, yet I do not use it in my spreadsheet. I do use the Solver however for financial modeling.

Compared to the desktop version of Excel, the features in Excel for iPad are quite limited and still being improved. The buttons for refreshing data types and external connections are currently not supported in Excel for iPad.

I suggest that when you open the application, go to the "Home" tab, click on the "Me" (profile icon) in the top left corner, then click on "Help & Support," and choose either "Tell us what you like" or "Tell us how we can improve" to provide feedback about the features in Excel for iPad.

Your feedback will help the development team improve the Excel application.
