How to select ALL text...

Hello Community Members...

I have a Word document containing 10 A4 pages...

Want to select all text but unsure how to do this currently...

    The keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A or the ribbon command Home>Select>Select All should both select all text.

    John is correct.

    However, be aware that anything in a text box or in headers/footers or in footnotes will not be selected.

    I could not find it on the ribbon but instead searched for it instead in the search field...

    HOW do I find it on the ribbon...

    It is on the far right side. There is a drop-dow for Select.
