I get "Encountered error Upload failed" when trying to upload content to office.com

Question

Hi I'm trying to upload a word document and an excel spreadsheet to my office.com account. I get this error: Encountered error Upload failed. See screenshot:

I understand that you are experiencing an error when uploading files in Office.

I noticed that you posted two threads and in another thread your OneDrive account was frozen.

May I ask if you are using the same Microsoft account for the issue in both threads? If so, then it is the OneDrive freeze that is causing your Office file uploads to fail.

If it is not the same account, then I need to ask you for more information: what type of account are you using, is it a business account or your private account, and do you have enough space in OneDrive? Is it the same when you change to another browser?

Hi Mila,

Yes it is the same account. I did think that the freeze was the cause of the failure to upload but since the error messages was so general I posted the 2 problems separately because I wasn't sure.

Then we can confirm that the issue is caused by OneDrive being frozen.

I'm concerned about your situation, can I ask if your OneDrive has been unfrozen?
