I keep getting this error when trying to distribute a page in a class Team.

I have distributed other pages with more information with no issues.

The images I have put in are set as background images.

There is no attached only images set to background image.

    Hi Timothy,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

Per your description, since it only occurs when distributing a specific page, it may be caused by the page itself (related to these images) or the OneNote app you used. In this case, I would like to gather more information to troubleshoot.

    1. Based on the error message, since I don't know how many images you put in and the size of the images, I suggest you do a simple test. You can temporarily reduce the number of images inserted, then try to distribute the relevant page and check the results.
    2. Based on the user interface in the screenshot, I'm wondering if you are using "OneNote for Windows 10" or OneNote for Web (opening the notebook in the browser or in Teams).

If not, please point it out and let us know.

If so, please let me know whether you are using "OneNote for Windows 10" or OneNote for Web. In addition, since I don't have your images to test directly, I suggest you use another OneNote desktop application, called "OneNote". If you don't have it, you can search for it in Microsoft Store and install it for free. After that, I suggest you open the class notebook in OneNote, then try to distribute the relevant page and check the results. This can help us to troubleshoot whether the issue is caused by a specific OneNote app.

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator
