Account compromised, microsoft useless

Question

My account was compromised. My email, and phone number on the account were changed, and likely the password too. I was not contacted about any of this until after it happened. I cannot sign in, since it says my account doesn't exist. When i call microsoft, they tell me to use the website, since they cant help with sign in or account details over the phone, and now it just immediately hangs up on my on the phone.

I have purchases on this account. I had 2 factor on this account. None of those things kept my account from being compromise. Somebody needs to contact me. I went to xbox, and signed up for a call back, but the fact that i can either get pushed back and forth from a phone call and a website, or talk to some random person from the community through the xbox channels is absurd.

Somebody from microsoft needs to contact me as soon as possible. I have private, personal information in my microsoft account. I have expensive purchases and history in my microsoft account. Losing my account because your side of the security did not work is unacceptable. My desktop is even signed into this account, and suddenly none of my applications are signed in.

The free mail accounts from MS have no phone/chat support, any recovery/password change is an automated online process only
