Request for Complete Reference Guide for OneDrive LastMigrationScanResult DWORD Values

I'm seeking a complete reference guide for the LastMigrationScanResult DWORD values located at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\OneDrive\Accounts\Business1. I know that a value of 1 indicates success, and 40 represents failure. However, I've encountered several PCs where the value is set to 10, and I can't find any documentation explaining what that means. I'd greatly appreciate any information or guidance to help with troubleshooting.

best regards,

I'm pretty sure other codes might come up. Could you provide a complete list of reference values besides 1, 10, and 40?

    Dear Andy Wong2,

Thank you for reaching out with your query regarding the LastMigrationScanResult DWORD values in the registry key HKCU\Software\Microsoft\OneDrive\Accounts\Business1.

We understand that you are seeking a complete reference guide for these values. As you mentioned, a value of 1 indicates success, and 40 represents failure. The value 10 that you’ve encountered typically signifies a partial success or incomplete migration. This can occur if some files were successfully migrated while others were not, possibly due to issues such as file locks, permissions, or network interruptions.

For more detailed troubleshooting, we recommend checking the OneDrive logs or using the OneDrive troubleshooting tools provided by Microsoft.

To download the OneDrive troubleshooting tool, you can use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA). Here are the steps to get it:

    1. Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant download page.

Additionally, ensuring that all files are closed and that there are no network issues during the migration process can help mitigate these partial successes.

If you have any additional questions or if you need any additional help regarding this or anything else at all - let me know, I'll be here to help you out.

And in the meantime, I hope you'll have a lovely day ahead, stay safe & take care!

    Yours sincerely,

    Sophia
