Date Format Problem in Excel 365

I have a problem regarding the date format.

I am downloading spreadsheets from the bank website, which its date format is mm/dd/yy.

When I open it in Excel, the date cell becomes yyyy/mm/dd

For example, the date is supposed to be 06/01/24 which means June 1, 2024,

will become 2006/01/24 in my Excel.

Is there any method to let Excel recognize the date correctly without changing the window's date and language setting?

Thank you.

    You may try import wizard.

Data>Get data >From File>From Excel workbook, Then you can use steps in this link.

Power Query - How to import a CSV file that does not match your locale
