The person receiving the link to certain resources cannot receive the materials. What's going on? Why am I paying for this service?

    Dear Mateusz Rogala1,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

We understand that you said the link does not work.

We see that you said the recipient cannot access your file information. And you shared the corresponding connection information with us. We tested and confirmed that we can open your file information through the link you shared with us.

In order to further help you confirm the cause of the problem, you need to share more information with us:

    1. You said that you cannot obtain the material. Does the person who received your shared file not be able to view the information in the file? Does the person be shared view the file through the OneDrive program? Or does he view your shared file through a web page?
    2. You said that you need to pay. Is it an error message displayed on the page when you or the person being shared with view it? Or are you unable to share successfully?
    3. When you share the file, do you also share it through a link? Or do you share your file information through email?
    4. If your person being shared with cannot view it, is the account used by the person being shared a personal account? Is the account type consistent with yours?

If it is convenient, you can also share with us the error or page displayed when viewing the shared file, and we will help further confirm it.

If you do not have a subscription product, you do not need to pay. You or the person being shared will each have 5GB of OneDrive storage space. If the storage space is not exceeded, you can use it normally.

Through the link you shared with us, we need to log in to the Microsoft account to view and edit your files. You can help try the following:

    1. Confirm whether there is a logged-in account when viewing the file:

You can confirm whether there is a logged-in OneDrive account information when viewing the shared file. After successful login, check the shared file to see if it can be viewed successfully.

    1. Re-share and optimize the network to confirm:

You can try to regenerate a new shared connection to open it to see if it can be opened successfully?

    Optimize network confirmation:

    Change DNS:

"Start" > "Settings" > "Network and Internet" > Double-click to open "Change adapter options" > Right-click "Connected network" to open "Properties" > Select "Internet Protocol Version 4", double-click to open > Check Use the following DNS server addresses > Preferred DNS server (4.2.2.1), Alternate DNS server (4.2.2.2) > OK > OK > Try again after change, remember to change to automatic after success

You can try it. If you have any updates, please reply to us. We will also provide you with more detailed information based on your subsequent help and we can find a solution together.

    Best Regards,
