Hello Oscar Le

Good day and thanks for reaching out.

Based on the information, it appears some emails are deleting or moved to other folders without inbox rules or human interaction. There are several potential reasons why emails might be deleted or moved to other folders in Outlook. To better assist you, we need more information on the following.

  1. Which version of Outlook are using?
  2. Has this issue been occurring consistently, or was it a one-time event?
  3. Which folders have the emails been moved to? Is it a folder you recognize or one that was recently created?
  4. Have you tried resetting all rules, you can use the command outlook.exe /cleanrules in the Run dialog box and have you checked if the issue

persists in outlook.exe /safe.

  1. Have you tried repairing the current Outlook OST file Repair Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost)?
  2. Have you used MFCMAPI tool to check and remove corrupted inbox rules? Download and install the MFCMAPI tool microsoft/mfcmapi.
  • Open MFCMAPI and select Session > Logon.
  • Choose your Outlook profile.
  • Navigate to Root Container > Top of Information Store > Inbox.
  • Right-click Inbox and select Open associated contents table.
  • Look for any entries with the message class IPM.ExtendedRule.Message and delete them. This can help remove any hidden or corrupted rules

Note: Due to forum policies and confidential information protection, please share the requested information with me in the "View Direct Messages" section above.

    Hello Oscar Le

Good day and thanks for reaching out

Kindly follow these steps to remove the rule deleting mail from the specific user.

    1. Log In to Your Profile:

Once MFCMAPI is open, navigate to the Session menu.

Select Logon and choose the relevant Outlook profile you wish to modify.

    2. Access the Inbox:

After logging in, expand the node on the left to locate the IPM_SUBTREE.

Within this, find and right-click on the Inbox, then select Open Associated Contents Table.

    3. Locate the Rules:

Look for a folder named Inbox Rules or similar among the associated content.

Open it to see the existing rules applied to your inbox.

    4. Identify the Specific Rule:

Browse through the rules listed to find the one that deletes emails from the specific person.

You may recognize it by its name, or the conditions set within it.

    5. Delete the Rule:

Right-click on the identified rule and select Delete from the context menu.

You may be prompted to confirm the deletion; select Yes to proceed.

Confirm Deletion. After deletion, you can refresh the list to ensure that the rule is no longer present.

Hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out if you need further assistance with the issue. We will be happy to help.

    Sincerely,

    Bertrand
