I keep receiving an error message that something went wrong while trying to install office. I've uninstalled and attempted to reinstall several times to no avail. Tried using support and recovery assistant as well and same result. Please advise.

    Dear Leo Cruz,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern but since you have mentioned you are using the Microsoft SARA tool with no success, I would like to confirm whether you have enabled with the proxy, antivirus, firewall, or VPN on the problematic device.

If yes, I would like to temporarily turn off those services on your device and try to install the Office apps and check the outcome.

If the same problem persists, then I would like to recommend you use the Office Deployment Tool for install the Office apps and you can follow steps provided by Chitrahaas Nalla MSFT in this thread for using Office Deployment tool: Installing Microsoft Office hangs at 51% - Microsoft Community

Note: To get the updated configuration file, you can access this link to generate configuration XML: https://config.office.com/ with your Office 365 account and create a configuration file as per your requirement and for more reference to the article: Overview of the Office Customization Tool - Microsoft 365 Apps | Microsoft Learn

Moreover, we can provide the configuration XML for you but please provide the name of the Office 365 subscription assigned to you by your organization from the Subscriptions page:

Open the browser such as Google Chrome> Click on the three dots at the top right> New Incognito window> Access https://portal.office.com > Enter Office 365 account details> Click on the profile picture at the top right (beside the question mark icon)> View Account> Scroll little down and click on Subscriptions> See whether you are having the mentioned license.

In addition, can you please confirm whether you are using Microsoft Personal account ( @outlook.com ) or Microsoft work account (@companyname.onmicrosoft.com)?

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
