presentation not loading correctly while recording

I am trying to record my presentation using the "record slide show" button under slide show tab.

When I launch the presentation using this button/tool, some of elements of my presentation (such as arrows, text boxes) are not loading.

When I run the presentation using a normal slide show view, it appears as it should inclusive of all elements.

How do I fix the record option so that my slide show is complete while recording?

    Hello Zelaw, Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community. I myself added the arrows, text boxes, etc. you mentioned to PowerPoint and then tested it using the record function in the record slide. Here I am both switching PowerPoint myself, and in the recorded video it works fine.

    I am using version 16.89 of PowerPoint. please check your current PowerPoint version by opening PowerPoint and clicking on PowerPoint in the upper left corner and then clicking on About PowerPoint.

    So I would like to ask you:

    • Have you tried this feature in any other PowerPoint if you have the same problem?
    • Do you have this problem with your entire PowerPoint document, or does it only happen on specific pages?

    Please do the following routine troubleshooting, which will go a long way in narrowing down the problem:

    • Check to see if your PowerPoint can be updated, and if so, update it;
    • If your current PowerPoint is the latest version, uninstall it and click the link below to download an older version to try;

    • Follow the steps in this official Apple article to start it using your Mac's Safe Mode, and then check your PowerPoint again to see if you have the same problem, this is to rule out if it's other software interfering:Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support (SG) Disclaimer: Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites or any support related to technology.

    I look forward to your letting me know the results and I will give you further support as soon as possible based on your response.
