I had one drive on my personal computer. I also has one drive from work. both one drive documents were getting mixed. so stopped subscription of one drive on my personal computer assuming that my work one drive can still access the documents. later I discovered that all my documents on personal one drive were missing and I was not able to access my documents on my personal computer. I re paid for personal one drive again and I still can't access to my important documents. I have been trying to find ways of speaking to some tech support but unfortunately there is no number to call. there is one person tries to call at random times either when I am working or when I sleeping.

    Dear M Kashif1

    Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, we don't have a direct way to contact the OneDrive team. We recommend that you note your convenient time in the OneDrive team's contact window, or communicate via email.

    Dear M Kashif1

Thanks for raising your concerns in Microsoft Community.

We understand that you are experiencing data loss in OneDrive.

It needs to be explained that OneDrive is only a synchronization platform, and file synchronization is bidirectional. This means that if you add, change, or delete a file or folder in the OneDrive folder, it will also be added, changed, or deleted on the OneDrive website, and vice versa.

After you stop your OneDrive subscription, the OneDrive storage space will be reduced to 5GB, and the original files will be cleared, causing the files on your computer to be cleared as well.

After you expand the space again, you can try to restore the OneDrive function. This operation can undo the operations on the files in OneDrive within a month. You can try to go back for a period of time to see if you can recover.

Restore your OneDrive - Microsoft Support

But if it has been more than a month, or you tried but couldn't recover, you need to contact the OneDrive team to help you find the lost files.

I hope the above information is helpful. If you need further assistance, please feel free to reply.

    Best Regards,
