Sync between folder on Onedrive

Hi

I have files in a folder X,

That folder is copied to a new folder Y.

If files are updated in folder X no update is done in folder Y.

Is it possible to get an automatic update also in folder Y?

Best regards

    Hi Håkan Vads,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

On OneDrive, copying a folder X to a folder Y is effectively the same as creating a copy of X in folder Y.

Y is not updated when you change folder X. This is because they remain independent of each other and does not imply any synchronization connection between them.

If you need to keep folders synchronized between different OneDrive accounts. Creating OneDrive shared folders is a good way to do this.

Unfortunately, OneDrive does not currently have the ability to synchronize two folders with each other under the same account.

Perhaps you might consider submitting feedback in the OneDrive app to let the developers know your thoughts and needs.

Right-click the OneDrive cloud icon, select Settings & More, then select Feedback.

    Best regards,
