AD Connect Sync

I am not sure if this is in the proper area.

We have contractors working within our organization. They require the use of their individual email addresses, not our company addresses. Additionally, these accounts are needed for cloud access and need to be synced to 365/Entra.

Users are added, but the individual email address (listed both in proxyAddresses and mail attributes) are not updated in Entra. Entra shows the company address.

The on-premises account was created using Exchange Admin (Hybrid), primary SMTP addresses updated properly. ADUC shows the email and proxy addresses properly. When sync runs, these attributes are not updated.

I am pretty sure that it is a rule that needs to be updated, but I am not sure what to update. I have looked thru the rules and are confusing to me.
