Can't find the Specified Database?

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue where two users are receiving the message "Can't find the specified database" on the DeltaBond app. We have fully reinstalled new PCs for these users and connected them to the DeltaBond virtual desktop app. However, they are still encountering remote desktop disconnections. There is no indication of an issue logged on the PCs; the RDP connection simply drops. We have checked the event log on the server side and tested the connection, but we cannot find anything that suggests there is a problem. Does anyone know what might be causing this message to appear and crashing the users' sessions?![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/7890b5a4-66c0-4e18-977b-adb906a16a0c?platform=QnA

Again, your support team apparently has direct access to the customer's network so they can verify the accdb is where it's supposed to be?

Also, there's the issue of the connection dropping apparently. "...the RDP connection simply drops. "

That implies some problem with the way that company's infrastructure is configured or supported. Nothing that we can help you diagnose.

In short, it's probably a coincidence to some extent that the missing file is an Access file, i.e. an accdb. And, while we are certainly interested in finding a resolution, there's little Access developers can do in that regard. Perhaps a search for support sites for RDP configuration and deployment will get you closer to the necessary expertise.

    "... 2 users from a specific company."

Unfortunately, that would suggest a problem inside that company's own network environment, rather than an MS Access-related problem.

In any event, it's hard to diagnose such issues on the basis of a reported error message alone. The error message suggests that your software is expecting an accdb to be stored in a specific location on a server at that company's location. You can probably verify that location exists and that the accdb is, in fact, located there, but beyond that basic step, how your software goes about determining that it can find the accdb is not visible to anyone not involved in process directly.

I suspected it could not find the accdb but I was not sure of it, from our Support Team point of view we could not find any issues, neither the customer.

The First link you provided is the good one

What is DeltaBond? Have you contacted them?

DeltaBond is an application we are offering to our Customers where they can see their warehouse stock. The Dev Team has made multiple updates to the Application but the result is still the same, seems to affect only 2 users from a specific company
