I don't understand why there is so much space at the bottom of my documents. I am a college student, and this is frustrating; I am on Mac Os Sonoma 14, and when I paste words into the document I am editing, the bottom of the file has so much space and just moves to the next page. This never used to happen, but it has now been going on for over a year; it's an ongoing issue & I am fed up with it now. The selected margin is the "normal" one. Please help me to resolve this issue so I can submit my assignments properly and not with a bunch of unnecessary extra pages.

There are several possible reasons, most of which stem from the content being copied. It's difficult to discern the specific cause without seeing an actual document which illustrates the issue. If you save a copy to OneDrive & provide a share link in a reply here I'm sure someone will be able to assist. See this Support article if you need guidance: Share OneDrive files and folders

At the very least, provide a screen shot of the document window with the non-printing characters displayed. That may identify the cause.

Also, please include the specific Version Numbers of both macOS & Office.
