No hyperlink option

I want to insert a ppt in the my main ppt. But when I selected the link, it gives me an only option of entering address, url, instead of option to be able to select files in the directory. What did I do wrong? Old microsoft office was letting insert any files in the directories.

You are probably remembering a desktop version of PowerPoint, which has more hyperlink options. Mobile editions of the program are more limited.

    This is only possible with the desktop version of PowerPoint, not the web or phone/tablet versions.
