Hi Team,

Since this week , my work app in Android device (v14) is not working and it's prompting me to sign in with pass key . In order to create a passkey , it's asking me to upgrade to android 15 which my device currently won't support . Is there any other way to get back my work account again in my android device as I believe Android 14 is not an outdated version .

Dear Praveen Kumar D (INFOSYS LIMITED),

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you seem to be hoping that you can get your work account back by creating a key, and I understand how you feel.

It may be true that Android 14 does not support the creation of pass keys, this may be because it has an API or feature that does not support creation and management. It is suggested that you can use other recognised access such as password or biometrics or create it using other 3-way software.

I wish I could solve your problem, but your issue seems to require a working account or more specialised support in the Android 14 mobile feature set, and it is recommended that you can get help with this on the Enterprise section of the community or in the Android System Support Centre.

We sincerely hope that if you contact the right department, your issue will be handled properly. Thank you for your understanding!

    Best regards

could be.. may be... ? Not one useful piece of information. No bug report, no resolution but to not use Authenticator.

You are not helping the brand.

I have the same problem. The costs and risk for me to upgrade are not trivial, given how things work in the enterprise. Moving to another solution will cost a lot more. When it becomes too hard to use, it becomes a problem.

I know If I was running a project costing a million dollars a day, and this cost me 5 days I would be escalating this a little higher.

This question needed to be answered by one of the product owners.

OTOH, you have sent readers back to their own admins, that would be aware of this?
