Hello,

Thanks to a helpful reply to my previous question I managed to get the summary bar working as I intended. However, now I have an issue where a milestone that I created gets hidden behind a scheduled task on the summary bar. How do I make it so that milestones are always shown on top of the summary bar?

As you can see in the picture below, you only see half of the milestone mark on the summary bar.

BR, Casper

    Casper T,

Okay, take a look at the rolled up milestones higher up in your list. What is different? The "From" is different. A milestone is a zero duration "task". There is no start and finish, it's either start or finish.

In your last screen shot you show your added milestones, one for a regular rolled up milestone and one for a manual milestone. Set the From AND To for both milestones to be either Task Start OR Task Finish and your problem will be solved.

    Casper T,

The default Bar Styles has a plethora of styles, most of which are never used. You might consider deleting any bar styles you don't need.

As far as why the new style didn't seem to make any difference, did you at any time try to set the bar style of one or more individual bars (i.e. Gantt Chart Format > Bar Styles > Format > BAR)? If so, select all tasks (click in the upper most right corner of the Gantt Chart view. Then go to, Gantt Chart Format ?Bar Styles > Format > Bar and hit the Reset button.

It would help if you show us a screen shot of your Bar Styles (like I did above). You may need several screen shots if you still have all the default bar styles.

    Casper T,

In the list of Bar Styles, styles further down in the list take priority over styles near the top of the list. So take a look at your Bar Styles list and rearrange as desired. This is what my default bar styles look like:

And this iw what is shown for a simple example:

    Hope this helps.

How do I simply reorder them? I created a new barstyle to the bottom and copied all the settings, from the original one, but nothing happens. It doesn't even show up on the gant. The old one still persists. And even if I delete the old one, still the new one doesnt show.

Use the Insert Row button to insert rows where you need them. Also cut/paste.

You can't shuffle them up and down.

Maybe give us a screenshot of your bar styles.
