    Hi Harmil Sanghavi

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience this issue has caused you. Based on the description, I understand that you receive an error message: "Authentication unsuccessful, SmtpClientAuthentication is disabled for the Tenant" when trying to configure SMTP mail service using O365 with GoDaddy.

To troubleshoot this error, please kindly follow the steps below:

    1. Enable SMTP AUTH for your organization:
      • Open the Microsoft 365 admin center.
      • Go to Settings > Org settings.
      • Under Services, select Modern authentication.
      • Ensure that Authenticated SMTP is enabled.
    2. Enable SMTP AUTH for specific mailboxes:
      • Open the Microsoft 365 admin center and go to Users > Active users.
      • Select the user whose mailbox you want to configure.
      • In the flyout pane, select Mail. > Under Email apps, select Manage email apps.
      • Ensure that Authenticated SMTP is checked.
      • Save the changes.
    3. If security defaults are enabled in your organization, SMTP AUTH might be disabled by default. You may need to disable security defaults to use SMTP AUTH.

For more information, please kindly see: Enable or disable SMTP AUTH in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn and How to set up a multifunction device or application to send emails using Microsoft 365 or Office 365 | Microsoft Learn.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Sincerely,

    Roger Shen
