Adding photos

Question

I am trying to add photos to a Page. I choose + Image but it only allows me to choose from a few of the folders in my Gallery. It is not showing the folder I need. How can I get ALL folders to be displayed?

Thanks for raising your concerns in Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I understand that you cannot display all albums in OneNote mobile. I understand your feelings and this problem is indeed troubling.

I tested it with two Android devices and found that after selecting [Insert Picture] on the page, only four albums were displayed on the album interface: Favorites, Camera, Screenshots, and Downloads, as shown in the following figure:

Therefore, we speculate that the inability to display all albums in the album interface is by design.

I tried to retrieve all albums and found that I could view photos in other albums in the following ways:

• Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the interface. Select [Browse]。
• Select [Gallery] or [My Files] on the interface. If you have installed other album apps, you can also click on the album app and select the folder corresponding to the album in the new interface to browse the photos in these albums.

I guess this is to simplify the album interface, so it is designed to display only a few important albums. Your needs are also very important. I also suggest that you can submit feedback in OneNote (click the avatar > [Send feedback to Microsoft]) to let the relevant team know your needs so that they can make improvements and optimizations in the future.
