pst file issue

Hi All,

One of our user has issues with their outlook due to its functionality being slowed down, so he removed the pst files that he has added in his account. However, his outlook is still lagging but his pst files are not updated to the latest one.

Kindly advice.

    Based on your description: Pst file issue in Outlook. I would like to cooperate with you working on this case. To clarify this case, please kindly provide us your Outlook version with product details by going to Outlook > File > Office Account and share that entire page screenshot with hide personal information. What version of Outlook do I have?

    For my suggestion, you may try following workaround to narrow down this case:

    1. Firstly, you may try to restart your Outlook and Windows system to check again. If not working, please try to re-create another Outlook profile and check performance issue if fixed. Create an Outlook profile - Microsoft Support
    2. For Outlook performance issue, you may check this article as reference How to troubleshoot performance issues in Outlook and perform all the steps completely. For Outlook pst issue, you may check this article Repair Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost) as reference.

    3. Outlook works best when it's up to date. We recommend setting Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates. Bug fixes, new features, and performance enhancements are released regularly. To install the latest Windows and Office updates, see Install Office updates. You can click File > Office Account > Update Options > Update Now to have a check.
