Formula help

I'm in need of formula help for approximately 7 formulas for conditional formatting in Excel please. If there is any way the orange and red fills can be combined.

Scenario: Excel worksheet with multiple workbooks and lots of data used for tracking expirations for certifications, education, and orientation.

Problem: Conditional formatting formulas have worked well for the past couple of years. This year, we've added specific text (NR) before a date in the cell to indicate that the employee has the education/certification but that it's Not Required for their role. I've asked copilot multiple times for help but it's only confused me more and made things worse with my conditional formatting.

Ask: Need cells to automatically change when date has expired and when date is 0 - 30 days from expiration.

  • Some cells will be date only
  • Some cells will need any text prior to the date
  • Some cells will need specific text (NR) prior to the date

I wouldn't combine text and a date in one cell. Use one column for the dates and another for the text such as NR.
