Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello Cotton on Orde
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.
Based on your description, you're having trouble with accessing your account due to MFA authentication. In this scenario, the best way is to reset your MFA option, so that you can re-configure it when you login the next time.
Please refer to the information below:
If you are using Microsoft business/education account which is assigned by your organization
- As you are an admin (but if you are not the only one), please contact your administrator to follow the steps in Manage authentication methods for Azure AD Multi-Factor Authentication - Microsoft Sign In | Microsoft Learn to reset your MFA option. After resetting, you would be required to set the MFA again when you login to O365 Portal.
- If you are the admin only and not able to access your account, you need to contact Data protection team because we are from community team and we are not authorized to reset any user/admin account. Data Protection Team is the only support team to check and reset account. To find contact number of Data Protection team, please check Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support.
Thank you in advance for your understanding. Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I hope for all the best!
Sincerely,
Shajia Afrin | Community Moderator
