Microsoft one drive

My company is linked through the beautiful Microsoft ecosystem. The only problem is things don't work properly.

Every time I save a file in a Microsoft suite app, I can't save another version to one drive. Each time I attempt to do so, nothing happens. I then have to recopy everything I make. Not worth using.

I want to thank in advance Microsoft and its beautiful copilot for not being good enough to answer my question, and the bloggers who are.
