Based on your description, it seems you want to create a Loop workspace and the corresponding .loop files are stored in the Teams channel connected SharePoint site.
As far as I know and after my test, generally, only the Loop component/workspace created in Teams channel meeting and Teams channel post will be stored in the corresponding SharePoint site.
