Cannot Install OneDrive on MacBook

I get the message: the onedrive cannot be created at the selected location. MacBook is from 2024, MacOS is Sequoia 15.1. 1 I have reinstalled the latest version of OneDrive, but keep getting the same error. I use the standard folder on the built-in SSD (users/.../OneDrive) so no external drive. I did install the MacBook by transferring an old iMac where the OneDrive was on a USB HDD; however, I no longer use that.

    Hi Jan Scheepers2

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We need you to provide more information so that we can better assess and analyze the issue:

    1. Is the OneDrive account you are using a personal account or a work or school account? Please provide the account domain.
    2. Please provide a screenshot of the error message to help us better understand your issue.
    3. Was OneDrive installed from the Mac App Store or the client version?
    4. What is the format of your current built-in SSD? For example: APFS, HFS+, exFAT, or FAT32. (OneDrive for Mac supports APFS format)

If possible, we recommend providing screenshots of the above information (please mask any sensitive details such as account name, etc.) to help us better understand your situation.

    Best Regards,
