I have a Microsoft Office 365 subscription and need to import data from a PDF file into Excel for Mac. I'm using the latest version, 16.93.1, but unfortunately, it doesn't have the option to Get Data from PDF. Could anyone assist me with this?

The link I provided in my initial reply explains the only procedure currently available. You don't mention even having read that reply.

Microsoft produces software for both their own [Windows] operating System as well as for the Mac operating system. There are distinct differences which dictate that the respective programs never will have identical feature sets.

Portable Document Format (PDF) is a container that can hold data in a a variety of ways. Quite often, it's text that can be copied and pasted into an Excel worksheet, which in turn can be used as a PowerQuery data source.

Sometimes the data is a picture that can be copied and pasted into a worksheet, as well. Then you can use the get data from picture feature in Excel to restore the data to a worksheet.

The trick is figuring out what format the data is really in and getting it out of the PDF and into a useable format.

Thank you for taking the time to explain what a PDF document is. I appreciate the effort, but I am still encountering an issue. Despite having the latest version of Microsoft Office 365, I don't have the option to "Get Data from PDF" in Excel. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or clarification from someone. I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't offer a direct solution as its their project.
