After the recent update my footnotes no longer put in all the information. They are now wrapped in paranthesis and only contain the author and date. Example (Dickens, 1900) . Previously all the information would be the same as what is in the bibliography can some one please help with this. I am using a mac with the word app. Thanks

In which case, what that tells you is that Turabian is using a different citation format from Chicago and MLA.

Note: Neither Chicago nor MLA generate full bibliographic in-text citations.

This has nothing to do with footnotes as such, but with whatever citation Style you're using.

That's correct. I have entered necessary information in citation generator but when I use it in the foot note ar bottom of page for turabian format it only adds author and date similar to Harvard Anglia. Example would be (author, date).

Previously it would have been. Author, title, publisher, edition, date. Not in parentheses.

I am using turabian but when I use mla or Chicago it puts all necessary information into the citations. It only does not when inserting the footnote for turabian.

As Paul explained, it sounds like you're actually inserting Citations but perhaps inserting them as footnote text. Even so, the info included is dependent on the Citation Style being used. That can be determined in the Citations & Bibliography group on the Review tab of the Ribbon. For Example:

    Citation Style Used Inserted Info
    Harvard Anglia (Beam, 1887)
APA (Beam J. , The Brown Jug, 1887)
Chicago (J. Beam, The Brown Jug 1887)
