Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello Raaedh2 Administration
Good day and thanks for posting in Microsoft community.
I completely understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. It’s incredibly annoying when you’re trying to purchase a product you need, especially something as essential as an MS 365 Business license, and you hit a roadblock during the payment process.
The error code you’re receiving indicates that there’s an issue with verifying your payment method. This can be due to several different factors, such as, Banking or Card Issues, Account or Payment Method Issues and Microsoft’s Payment System. The issue can lie within the payment verification system on Microsoft’s end, especially if their system is temporarily unavailable or facing issues. This is not uncommon, and usually, the error can be cleared after some time.
However, there are typically two privacy guidelines that restrict community support for now:
- Privacy and security: Financial and subscription issues often involve sensitive personal information that should not be shared publicly on forums.
- Access account information: Community agents do not have direct access to users' subscription details or billing information. Therefore, we are unable to verify payments or make changes to your accounts.
While some payment issues can be resolved by retrying after a brief period or verifying the payment details, this situation seems to require more specialized attention. The error code you received points directly to an issue with Microsoft’s payment verification system, which means the best way to resolve this is to involve Microsoft's billing experts who have the necessary tools and access to troubleshoot the issue effectively.
If there’s an issue with your payment method being blocked or flagged, their team can help resolve it directly. They may also be able to assist with correcting any invalid or outdated payment information that might be causing the verification issue.
