Remove server from DFS

Hi All

i am new to DFS, i have 4 servers in DFS management. out of the 4 servers i have one server which is 2008R2. i want to remove this server from DFS so that i can decommission it. experts guide me how to remove the server from DFS management.

    Additionally,

    Before removing DFS please ensure AD Replication is working in good health as DFS is tightly integrated with AD.

    Is it a DFS namespace or a target?
    If it's a target, have you configured replication?
