Issue with document formatting itself when I close and reopen it - Hyperlinks changing text size and table moving.

Question

I have created a word document on 365 with flow chart using shapes that I have input myself and inside the shapes I have included hyperlinks that link to a table on the following page. Everytime I close and reopen the document the text size for the hyperlinks has been changed and the table gets moved behind the shapes.

As a first step, go to Developer>Document Templates>Templates and ensure the 'Automatically Update document Styles' checkbox is unchecked. If it was checked and you uncheck it, does that resolve the hyperlink issue next time you open the document?

Good day!

The Developer tab isn't displayed by default, but you can add it to the ribbon.

1. On the File tab, go to Options> Customize Ribbon.
2. Under Customize the Ribbon and under Main Tabs, select the Developer check box.

After you show the tab, the Developer tab stays visible, unless you clear the check box or have to reinstall a Microsoft Office program.

Hi Tin, thankyou for responding to my query. I have inserted a screenshot below. The shapes I inserted were my own drawn shapes and text boxes and I added line shapes in to connect them. Every time I open the document I have to move the table you can see behind the shapes onto the next page. The text boxes with the red borders also contain hyperlinks of which the text size changes every time I open the document. I am also using version 2408.

In order to further assist you in investigating this issue and in order to conduct a more accurate test, I would like to confirm the following information first:

1. If it is convenient for you, could you share the screenshot of the shape you entered with me, so that I can use the same shape for testing.
2. The version of Word application you are using. (File - Account - version information)
3. The document you mentioned with the flowchart, was it created using a template? If yes, can I confirm if this template is a template that comes with Word?
