Windows Hello Different Logon Types

Hello,

I need to know how to differentiate between login activities in Windows Hello. For example, user logged in with finger print, and another with smart car, and third one with pin. There should be something in Windows logs to tell us.

    Hi,

    I'm not sure if this also stores the PIN method, but WIndows has a 'Biometrics' log in the advanced application log tree in event viewer. On my laptop I see an extended event with ID 1004 from source 'Biometric' that indicates in the event message that I logged on using my fingerprint sensor. I hope this helps.
