How can I get rid of this completely annoying "Paste with Copilot" box:

It covers text and does not move out of the sight.

    Hello, abambo

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Designer will be included with Microsoft 365 Personal and Family plans . As an existing Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscriber, you will automatically gain access to Copilot in Microsoft 365 applications when you update to the latest version.

Likewise, Paste with Copilot comes with your Microsoft 365 suite. If you don't need Paste with Copilot, check that it works for you by going to File > Options > clicked on the Copilot tab > unchecked the box that says "Enable Copilot."

We fully understand that this process may be confusing or inconvenient for you, assuming you don't need Copilot to come with your Microsoft 365. We are here and ready to assist you. If you need detailed instructions on completing a downgrade or adjusting your subscription, please try following the specific steps below.

Hopefully one of these steps puts that “Paste with Copilot” box out of sight and out of mind. If you’re still seeing it afterward, let us know what you’ve tried so far, and we can keep investigating. Happy (and quieter) pasting!

This is not a valid response. I want to use Copilot, and my company has enterprise licensing for it. However, that specific box covers up text and will not go away. It makes it impossible to edit text after a paste, because that message box is right in the way. There needs to be a way to make it a smaller box that *doesn't* cover up any text, or a way that we can click a button to hide the message.

The only workaround I've found is to paste my text to a different location in the document, and then immediately undo my paste. A company as big as Microsoft should have better usability than that, however.
