    Hi ken smith26,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I noticed that you posted your question in the "Other" category (Microsoft 365 and Office / Excel / For home / Other), so I wasn't sure which operating system you are using Excel on. However, after reviewing your posting history, it seems like you are using Office on Windows. Therefore, I will share my thoughts based on the Windows system for now. If you are using Office on a different operating system, please let me know in your reply.

To address the issue, follow these steps:

Search for "Excel" in the Windows search bar > select "Open file location" and navigate to the File Explorer. For me, the Excel shortcut is located in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Right-click on the Excel application shortcut > select Properties. In the Excel Properties dialog box, change the "Run" option to "Normal window" or "Maximized window". Then, reopen your Excel workbook to see if this resolves the issue.

I hope my explanation makes sense, and I look forward to your reply!

    Best Regards,
