Hi all,

I'm looking to get the business to use the Transcribe function under MS Word, currently we hold an E5 license and we have ~40K users but not all of them will be using this function.

The idea is to part of the business to use in important meetings but is more likely it will be exiting the 300 minutes limit. Which I cannot find in any Microsoft documentation. Just want to check if there is a actually limit of minutes when using Transcribe in MS Word and if so, how can we get this extend?

    Dear Jenifer Ordonez,

    Thank you for reaching out.

YES, your understanding about Transcribe - 300 minutes iscorrect The Transcribe feature in Microsoft Word is subject to a monthly limit of 300 minutes per user, applicable across all Microsoft 365 plans, including the E5 license. This limit is fixed and cannot be increased or removed.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We believe your request is very useful, and many users will benefit from this function. Please provide feedback to the developer team to consider adding a feature to increase the transcription limit in a future update.
