IIS enabled by default

I was doing some IP scanning on my network after upgradeing all stations to 21H1 and noticed that all our domain stations now have IIS on by default.
Something I never noticed before.

Is there a reason for this? Perhaps this is part of our MS365 installation I did back in March?

If there is no reason for it to be on I would like to disable it via GPO.

Thanx

    Hello @Dale Erickson

I would check on the Application events or the IIS logs in: %SystemDrive%\Windows\System32\LogFiles\HTTPERR to see the approximate date when it was enabled, for reference.

On the other hand, M365 makes totally sense, as IIS will be one of the requirements on the client due to the "connectors" to the cloud access and data.

Hope this helps in your case,
    Best regards!
