Hi there,

I always got below error at 'InputValidationRunBook' step via Azure Virtual Desktop Getting Started Wizard:

Error validating if azure administrator is a global administrator.

Error occurred while executing GetUser
Code: Request_ResourceNotFound
Message: Resource 'xxxx' does not exist or one of its queried reference-property objects are not present.

I am sure my account is the AAD owner and global administrator. There is not any users in the AAD; I am the only one.

But why it cannot pass this validation? What I can do?

Please help me out and thanks in advance.

Cheers

Michael

forgot to mention: I selected 'No identity provider' in the wizard; so Azure will automatice provision AAD DS for me

You could create AAD DS first as a workaround.

    Hello,

I am having the exact same problem under inputValidationRunbook when trying to create Azure Virtual Desktop using the wizard.

    Validating Azure administrator credentials.
