Cannot Invoke Virtual Keyboard in any AOSP Android Scanner, only on Google Stock Android
No problem using it on any Android GMS devices whatever OS version. the Virtual Keyboard works (appears /invoke) when an input box will be focused.
BUt it does not work on any AOSP Android installed mostly on some Android Industrial Scanners which doesnt have a physical keyboards on it. Even if you push the ABC key, it hides the RDP default keyboards but nothing happens when it invokes the virtual keyboard to show.
I'll suggest to add an alphabet keys on rdp keyboard instead of relying to the virtual keyboard, if we cant resolve it.

If it does not work on any AOSP Android but no issue on any Android GMS devices, we suggest that you could contact the AOSP Android Vendor for help.
Also, you can try to download a third-party input application like Google Input Tools to see if the virtual keyboard could display.

Thank you for your response.
I had contacted the dealer of the device but all they said mostly was because of the app being used which in my case is the RDP Client app.
I don't have any issue using other android app that works like a remote desktop and is compatible with Microsoft RDS.
I can invoke the keyboard with that app that I said without any issues but the problem that I forgot to mention in my question is, I want an RD Client with remoteapp capability.
Unfortunately , other Android app doesn't have remoteApp capability.
I am not sure of what you mean in your message about this Google Input Tool. If it is the option of using a Third-Party Virtual Keyboard then , yes, I had tried that already and it is one of the suggested solutions of this device vendor and it didn't work.
