    Hello,johnnicinco

    Thank you for your reply.

Thank you for your response. As the problem you are currently experiencing is a very common one. It has also been experienced by many other users. There is nothing that can be done about this one, as Office is very dependent on the system and registry, as I mentioned at the beginning of my first reply.

Then you mentioned that the key I sent you was blank? I didn't understand this, so perhaps my words didn't make sense to you.

Because Office no longer needs the key after it is bound, and also I can't send you the key.

What I have provided you with is a couple of common ways to troubleshoot this. The first is to send you an offline installer. If Office is not uninstalled on your computer, you can reset it by modifying the registry.

The steps for a clean uninstall were sent to you in a private message.

My suggestion is that you do a clean uninstall first and then install it with the offline installer. Confirm if you can install it. Then reset by modifying the registry.

If none of the above fixes it, there is no other way but to reinstall the system.

Although I isn't convenient to reinstall your system. But I did come across with use that users can't even fix it by restoring the computer to factory settings directly in the system.

Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your understanding and patience and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Dear Ryan:

my apologies the error was 30015-45(5). I wrote it down but my typing sux. I got the same message when I used your image. I think Ive search everywhere i could for my profile dated back before my update but it is gone and my users directory has a bunch of users that won't list on the login screen or list when i do the net users /all command. I just have to start over i'm afraid with a clean windows install. I just have to do a lot of work reinstalling everything i had because much of it was old. Thanks for looking at it though

    John

Also your letter suggested editing the registry to point office back to its original location but the key you provided was blank. You might want to tell me what that was supposed to be. Thanks, John

    Hello,johnnicinco

    Welcome to the Microsoft community!

I have realized that when you install Office 2021, there is an error code :30014-45.

Your current error code is the first time I've encountered it.

But the ones I've seen most often are 30015 and 30033 Are you sure it's 30014?

But they all have the same reason for the error.

Since the installation path of Office is fixed and cannot be changed, Office cannot be installed when there are anomalies in the local files of Office, or when there are residual files that cause incorrect access to the data, as well as when there are problems with the system and the system registry.

    • Next I will provide some detailed troubleshooting steps, which have examples of problem fixing. But if these problems can not be solved, only through a clean reinstallation of the system to solve the problem, because there have been cases of not retaining files to reset the system but the problem still exists.

I would like to confirm which Windows system you are current using?

I suggest you first try installing using the offline installer.

    1.Registry reset office

Press Windows + R , in the run box that opens type: regedit ,then press enter.

Locate the following keys and rename the Office folder (right-click on it and select Rename, e.g. rename Office to Officeold)

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office

Also refer to the following steps to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion in the Registry Editor and check if the Office data path location has been changed. If there is, please change it back to the correct path, the following is the correct path in the registry:

Disclaimer: Generally, modifying registry subkeys or work group is intended for advanced users, administrators, and IT Professionals. It can help fix some problems, however, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For further protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click How to back up and restore the registry in Windows - Microsoft Support to view the article.

    1. Uninstall Office residual files manually.

Manually uninstall Office - Microsoft Support

This method can effectively delete locally stored Office data files, but the operation is more complicated.

IMPORTANT: Before you start, you need to know removing Office manually is a long, complex process and might require that you reinstall the operating system if certain steps are done incorrectly.

If you haven't already tried uninstalling Office using the uninstall support tool following the steps in the "Option 2" section under the "Click-to-Run or MSI" tab in Uninstall Office from a PC, we recommend trying that first.

I'll send you a clean uninstall tool, I'll send you a clean uninstall tool, pay attention to the private message

Attention! It is recommended that you try a normal uninstall first and then try using a clean uninstall. Using the provided clean uninstall method will delete your Outlook mailbox configuration and emails, it is recommended that you back up in advance!

Once these operations are complete, you can try reinstalling Office in order to confirm that the problem is still there. If the problem persists, I can only recommend that you back up your data and cleanly reinstall your system.

Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your understanding and patience and I look forward to hearing from you.
