Ordinarily the requirement is that the objects have the same text wrapping style.
Why can't I select multiple objects in Word?
I have placed multiple pictures within a Word document and would like to group them, but can only select one

My jpg pictures all had the same wrapping style "In Line with Text" that would not allow them to be grouped, but once I changed them all to the wrapping style of "Square", I was able to group them.
