    Dear Vernadette,

We are glad to help you and we may need some more information for confirmation.

As I think that the data is the most important, may I know whether you can save the Visio file with a different name?

If yes, could you open the newly saved file again, edit is with slight changes and then save it again with the same name?

If yes, I suggest you remove the original file and use the newly saved file to move forward.

Where do you save the file? Sometimes it may not be a Visio issue but a file system issue. If it is convenient, you can try the way mentioned in I keep Getting Invalid MS DOS Function - Microsoft Community to see the result as well.

They way is also applied to Windows 10 or Windows 11.

Your effort and time are greatly appreciated!

    Sincerely
