do not see resolved comments in document

i open a word attachment in e-mail yesterday - resolved comments in document and today no resolved comments are in the attachment - did not save it last night

    To see Resolved comments, you can use the Revisions pane (Review tab > Markup group > Reviewing Pane).

    If your version of Word is using the so-called modern comments, Resolved comments will also be shown in the List view (not the Contextual view). On the Review tab, click Show Comments (in the Comments group) and then click List. The List view means that Word shows the Comments pane (on the far right of the document by default).

    The screen shot below shows both panes.
