Hello ~ I, like many, have had to work around issues with endnotes in office 2019. While I have figured out most issues, I still have questions. 1) Is it possible to add a section break in the endnotes? 2) When I add section breaks to format my headers, it messes up my endnote numbering. A way around this? 3) Does the 365 software better address formatting endnotes? Thanks for your help.

To answer #3, no version of Office/Microsoft 365 deals with endnotes any better (or even differently) than Word 2019. And no, you can't insert a section break in the endnotes, and the problems with endnote numbering, if you use "restart each section," has been a problem forever and doesn't look likely to be solved despite its inconvenience.
